Castroville Artichoke Festival

For the last 48 years, Castroville, CA has hosted an Artichoke Festival to celebrate its favorite crop. Mr. Y and I decided to check it out because I am inordinarily fond of artichokes. The Festival was OK, but the highlight was our trip back through Gilroy, where we discovered Rapazzini winery and their fabulous garlic-infused cooking wine. http://www.rapazzini.com/
