I'll start by saying that I did not fall on my ass, though it did come awfully close once. Seems my instructor's insistance on everyone having bare feet doesn't work so well with my sticky yoga mat. Oh, and the aforementioned preference for bare feet doesn't do much for the olfactory ambiance either, especially when I was positioned next to the only man in the room. Blech.
Other than that, I definitely have a way to go when it comes to flexibility, and I think it's good that I'm supplementing my workout with yoga. Now let's just hope I remember to bring some baby powder for my feet so I don't get stuck and tangled up next week!
