While we were walking around, we noticed the newest location of Peter's Cafe, our favorite diner. I had never eaten at the new location, and since we hadn't eaten breakfast yet, we stopped in for a bite.

A Day in Millbrae
This morning, Mr. Y and I went out to run a few errands, and noticed while we were out that Millbrae was having its annual Art and Wine Festival.

Actually, they weren't quite open when we got there, which was kind of nice because the crowds were smaller than they would be later.

Some of my favorite vendors were there, including Sierra Olive Oil Company, maker of fabulous olive oil (I purchased the garlic and key lime flavored oil this round)...
Napa Valley Soap Company (best. soap. ever.) ...
And Dezine 9, artist who creates unique individually crafted peau de soie handbags and one-of-a-kind jewelry. I am going to get one (or more!) of her bags, I just didn't have time to decide which one. They were all so, so cute!

This one was my favorite, but Mr. Y thinks it's a little too small...

I'm going to look for Dezine 9 at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival next weekend, and if she's not there, I'll call her. I have to have one of those bags!

Peter's Cafe has a traditional diner menu

And all the condiments you would expect, plus a few extra:
I ordered the corn beef hash with scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast.

Mr. Y's pancakes (extra good with boysenberry syrup):
Mr. Y enjoying his omelette:
Peter's new location is really nice, not nearly the dive the original location is, but the food was just as good.

Peter's Cafe also has fish! =)
