David Bruce 2000 Commemorative Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains, Estate Bottled
This Limited Edition 2000 vintage Pinot Noir commemorates the 70th birthday of Dr. David Bruce. San Francisco artist Henry Jackson has created the original painting "Gather" for this special wine. Grapes from the "David Bruce Selection" vines on our Estate Vineyard define this Pinot Noir. Henry Jackson literally embodied the spirit of David's passion for winemaking by blending soil from the vineyard with his paint for this label. Each bottle has a hand dipped wax capsule and is sold individually in a wooden box burnished with the David Bruce crest on the top and inside with David Bruce and Henry Jackson's signatures.
Limited supply-only 70 cases produced
At $120/bottle, Mr.Y says I can only have one, but I have already called the winery to have them reserve it for me and we will go pick it up (and taste a little wine) this weekend. Yay for collectable wines!
