Sometimes, I love my job. Today I love my job because every once in awhile, I get to travel somewhere really cool for work, and enjoy a little fun while I'm there. Next week, it's New York City. I have friends in New York, both from an on-line community and also real-life friends. Mr. Y's best man and his wife live in Manhattan now and I haven't seen them since the wedding. I also have several coworkers who transferred there in recent years that I am looking forward to seeing.
Up first, my dear friend Bella will hopefully be able to meet me for dinner on Monday evening. I'm still waiting to hear back from everyone else, as this is somewhat of a last-minute trip, but I'm sure my dinner calendar will fill up quickly, and where better to get to have 4 dinners in a row with friends? I'm so excited!!
